# Welcome

to E-lab, Elastos Cyber Republic community app

**E-lab.io** is a community-driven grant program based on the passed **Cyber Republic proposal**.

# About

The project will be driven by Elastos Guardians with **@MButcho#1612** as a lead, who can be contacted by Discord on Elastos Official server

# Rules

**a) DID** which created CR Suggestion and E-Lab Proposal **have to match**

**b)** Project must be built on Elastos infrastructure and have to **use at least one** of the following components:

* DID/EID
* Hive
* Carrier / P2P
* Mainchain
* Elastos Smart Chain

**c)** There is a maximum of **10,000 ELA** allowed per proposal to be granted.

**d)** There is a maximum 1 winner per month based on **Voting Score**, more information in [Grant proposal](/grant-proposal)

**e)** The project can advertise their proposal on social networks and in dedicated [❤ Community / #🥼┃e-lab](https://discord.gg/pnwm6equkt) channel on Discord to get community votes

**e)** Community voting will happen monthly between 1st and 8th, giving community 7 days to support their favorite project.

# Sign in to e-lab.io

#### Sign in using Elastos Essentials (EE) <a href="#nc5bwrr5p2uk" id="nc5bwrr5p2uk"></a>

2. Open [e-lab.io](https://e-lab.io/)
3. Click on Sign in with your DID\

4. Open EE and scan QR code provided on E-Lab page\

5. Confirm **Name prompt** in EE, which will be provided to E-Lab, otherwise your account will be shown as **Anonymous**

# Account activation

In order to [create proposals](/create-new-proposal) or [vote on proposals](/vote-on-proposal), users must be signed-in [e-lab.io](https://e-lab.io/) application via EE and account has to be activated. There are 2 ways to activate your account, via Discord ID or via KYC.&#x20;

To activate your account, please follow this guide:

2. Click **Activate** on [Welcome ](https://e-lab.io/)or [Community Proposals](https://e-lab.io/proposals/community-proposals) page![](/files/7TZXSGZ06TnVsElpwlSt)\

To activate your account via [KYC-me.io](https://kyc-me.io/), please continue here:

1. There will be 2 buttons: **Provide credentials** and **OK**![](/files/XyI0J4yertmexjWOkl3f)
   * If your DID is not yet KYC verified, click **OK** and you will be taken to [KYC-me.io](https://kyc-me.io/) which will guide you through the KYC process
   * If you are already KYC verified, please continue with **step 3**.
2. After you KYC verified, click on **Activate** again
3. Click **Provide credentials** in the dialog above
4. Select relevant credentials in EE and confirm with password
5. Your account is activated and you will be able to [Vote on proposal](/vote-on-proposal) and [Create new proposal](/create-new-proposal)

1. Retrieve your Discord ID via [this guide](https://www.remote.tools/remote-work/how-to-find-discord-id#tl;dr)
2. Enter your Discord ID in the text box and click **Provide my discord ID**:\

4. DM **@MButcho#1612** your **Elastos DID** from Essentials on Discord who will manually activate your account\

# Create new proposal

Users who activated their account are able to create e-lab proposal and must follow these steps:

1. Create a suggestion draft on [Cyber Republic / Suggestions](https://www.cyberrepublic.org/suggestion/create) page (do not sign it yet with Elastos Essential)
   * Suggestion **must** include at least 2 milestones:
     1. Project Initiation Payment with amount
     2. Project Completion Payment with amount
2. Create new proposal on [E-Lab / My proposals](https://e-lab.io/proposals/my-proposals) page\

3. Send new message in [🌐 Projects / 𝐄┃e-lab](<https://discord.gg/pnwm6equkt >) channel on Official Elastos server about your new proposal and mention **@Guardians** role
4. Guardians review **E-Lab proposal** and **CR suggestion**
5. Guardians will:
   * ask proposer to adjust CR suggestion if needed
   * deny the proposal if:&#x20;
     * doesn’t contain necessary information&#x20;
     * doesn’t comply with E-Lab [Rules](/introduction/rules)
6. Once proposer and Guardians agree on the final proposal and suggestion wording, the proposer **must sign CR suggestion** so it can not be altered in the future.&#x20;
7. Guardians will **approve E-Lab proposal**&#x20;
8. The proposal will appear in Community Proposal tab on e-lab and will be waiting for next voting period.

# Vote on proposal

Users with [**activated accounts**](/guides/account-activation) on e-lab will see proposals on **Community Proposal** tab, which they can vote for.

**Users will be able to:**

* Upvote proposal = +1 to the final Voting Score
* Downvote proposal = -1 to the final Voting Score
* Reset their vote
* View results of current and previous voting periods


# Grant proposal

There will be only **one winning proposal** in each voting period based on results of voting by Elastos community.

**Voting Score** is calculated:

The minimum **Voting Score** for funds to be granted to a winning proposal is **100** or **50% of activated accounts** on E-Lab (whichever is lower).

* If the Voting Score of winning proposal is **more than required minimum**, the E-Lab admin will manually grant funds to a winning proposal. Funds will be released based on milestones in CR suggestion by *Cyber Republic multisignature wallet*.
* If the Voting Score of winning proposal is **less than required minimum**, no funds will be granted in that voting period. In following voting period, there can be **2 winning proposal**, if they both obtain required minimum Voting Score.


# Bind wallet address

<mark style="color:red;">**Feature not implemented yet**</mark>

Logged-in users can bind their ESC (EVM compatible wallet) in their profile. Voting users will be able to receive future airdrops to this address.
